And Baby Makes 5!

It is official...Nathan and I are out-numbered by our sweet crew of boys. While I must admit that I am nervous about what our "new normal" will look like, I am also in complete awe of God's goodness and great love he has for his children. I can't wait to see all that God will teach me through little Kolson Noah. I can already hear him telling me to walk by faith and to just trust him even though the road ahead seems unclear and a little crazy (ok, ok...a lot crazy...we are talking 3 boys:).

Here are a couple pictures of the new Lorick crew!
Kaden was the first one in to see the newest addition...he is already in love and wondering when Kolson can go swimming at Mr. Clyde and Mrs. Glenda's House!

The Lorick 5! (I'm not sure Karter has even noticed he has a new brother!)

Introducing Kolson Noah Lorick

5 lbs 15 ozs 19 3/4 inches

Ready or Not!

The day has arrived (faster than I thought it would), K3 will be arriving sometime today! To be honest this may be the most nervous I have been yet. The thought of 3 little ones seems to be very daunting at the moment.

Despite my nervousness...I can't wait to see what he looks like...what color hair will he have...how big will he be...stay tuned!!:)

House Lift

With the arrival of K3 quickly approaching (we're talkin 9 days people), "nesting" has hit full force. Not only have I been cleaning like a mad woman, but my sweet hubby has been working his little tail off to give our home a much needed lift.
This is not our "dream home" but I agree with Flo that your home just isn't a home unless you make it feel like home. There are still many projects left on our "making a home" list, but so far we are off the a good start.
After a a few bumps in the road we have newly painted cabinets with hardware that I absolutely love! Our trees have been trimmed (Thanks Joe!), we have new shutters, a new door, and newly painted patio furniture. Add some flowers for a pop of color and this house is really starting to look like a home. Here are some pictures of our House Lift so far.

Play Ball!

This is Kaden's first year to play what we call "big boy" T-ball. Last year he got introduced to the sport, but this year it is the real deal. Kaden is playing on the Yankee's and he is so cute in his dark blue uniform. He was so excited about the hat and the belt and really everything that went with the uniform (last year they just had t-shirts).
Here are some pictures from his first game. We are two games into the season and so far the Yankee's are undefeated!!
