Are you like me? Tired of the same-old-same-old all the time. I love to cook...I love to provide good, well balanced meals for my family. BUT, I also work and I am married to a preacher which doesn't always leave a whole lot of time for those, shall we say, "grandma's recipe" kind of nights. Yes, I do subscribe to
Kraft Kitchens,
Betty Crocker, and I have even been known to browse
All Recipes...but really, who are the people rating these recipes? How do I know if they are going to be good before I waste precious time, energy, and money slaving away in the kitchen. Can you relate? Here is my suggestion:
write a post including a favorite EASY and GOOD recipe...be sure to include a picture and then link it to my post using "Mr.
Linky". Hopefully we will get a good little collection to add to our recipe boxes.
Happy Cooking!
Here is my recipe:
This is great when I want a little Asian flair...it reminds me of sweet and sour chicken and I always serve it over rice with Bacon Wrapped Green Beans that have a soy sauce flavor to them.
Apricot Chicken
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 pkg. onion soup mix
3/4 cup Apricot preserves
6-80z Catalina salad dressing
Place the chicken in a 9X13 pan and season
Stir remaining ingredients together and pour over chicken
Cover dish with foil
Bake at 350 for 45-50 min. (I take the foil off for the last few minutes)
Enjoy!
